The quote by Benjamin Franklin that “I didn’t fail the test. I just found 100 ways to do it wrong” may be seen as an excuse by a man who was a failure but does not want to admit the fact. However there is another way of looking at it.
It seems that if you go from one thing to the next and succeed first time at everything, you are not pushing yourself and not making the most of the talents that you have.
According to Benjamin Franklin, it would be a boring life if we all did just one thing and a complete waste if we knew there was more to do but did not carry on because we had been a failure in the past.
Failing the life test is not getting things wrong again and again, but not having another go to see if you can get it right this time. Eventual success is sweet success as Benjamin Franklin agrees.
