About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our clients’ day-to-day financial transactions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that clients’ financial data is accurate and up to date. You will play a vital role in helping clients manage their finances efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
  • Prepare and process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Collaborate with accountants to prepare BAS, IAS, and other tax obligations
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any bookkeeping or accounting issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in payroll processing is highly regarded
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (preferred but not essential)
