There are times when you can claim work related car expenses. In case you are unsure as to how much you are entitled to there is a calculator to do the work for you. There are a few questions that will be asked and it is vital that you enter the correct information. You will need to confirm that you have kept the cars records up to date and it will not matter if you own, have leased or rented the car.

There are 4 ways to calculate car expenses and if you have been honest, you may use the figure that give the best deal. If you do not have exact details, enter as accurately as you can. You can claim work related car expenses on more than one car, but must go through the process for each one.
