Digital Media Assistant or Traineeship in Marketing

Bottrell Business Consultants Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for a full-time Digital Media Assistant or Traineeship Marketing.

We are recruiting for a traineeship or a graduate position; you will receive hands-on experience & training.

Bottrell is a multidisciplinary firm based in two offices across Newcastle East (45 Hunter Street) & East Maitland (93 Lawes Street). You have the option to choose which office you prefer to work in.

You will report directly to the CEO within the marketing & business development team. Responsible for taking on various tasks, mainly creative but also including Copywriting, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Web Design & office support.

The ideal candidate for this position should be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations, possess social media skills, and display creativity. Additionally, it is important for the applicant to be highly organised and detail-oriented.

We are looking for a candidate with a proactive, can-do attitude and a solid commitment to delivering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be able to provide innovative graphic design solutions, work efficiently under tight deadlines, and be a team player. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Previous work experience:

  • Sales or Hospitality Experience would be an advantage.
  • Previous marketing or digital media would be an advantage.

Skills required.

  • Completed or currently studying graphic design or marketing qualifications or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Layout and typographic skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage changing deadlines.
  • Apple or Windows-based computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Word Press and Shopify would be an advantage.

We need someone who:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office.
  • Have creative flair and an interest in design for social media and web design.
  • Being highly organised and having strong attention to detail is crucial for this role, as it is not solely focused on creativity.
