Aristotle motivational quote on goals
In order to be successful you need to know what it is you want to achieve. Aristotle believed that success came in three stages, the first of which is to “have a definite, clear practical ideal; a goal.”
After that there has to be the means as without the means it will be nothing but a wish. Aristotle second stage was to “have the necessary means to achieve your ends; wisdom, money, materials, and methods.“
It could be that the third stage Aristotle made is the most difficult to achieve as it entailed the ability to “adjust all your means to that end”. By this he is saying that to achieve goals there is the need to be steadfastly looking to the one goal.
Once it is decided everything you are and own needs to be dedicated to you getting there. It takes strength and a determined will to put everything aside in order to achieve the one aim.
