A/B TESTING WITH MAILCHIMP

If you are not familiar with the term, A/B testing (also known as split testing) is the process of comparing two webpages, apps, enewsletters or the like and comparing which results in more conversions. Both options have different variables and are shown to a similar audience at a similar time and tested for their effectiveness in generating leads and conversions.
A/B testing is a super handy option embedded within email marketing software such as Mailchimp, that allows you to test several different campaigns to determine which has the better strike rate.
You can test a variety of variables such as your header image, email subject line, email header, call to action, day and time of campaign delivery and heaps more. Whatever variable you’d like to test is up to you and Mailchimp will do the rest.
Mailchimp will send your campaign out to a set sample for each campaign and deliver the results straight back to you of which campaign was the most successful.
Users do note, this included feature is only included in the paid Mailchimp business accounts and is not available on the free plan.
