Gavin Bottrell has been the Treasurer of the club from 2014- current.
Services we offer to the club are:
- Financial reporting to the committee on a month basis – including strategic, management, planning and tactical financial matters
- Compliance reporting to ATO
- Compliance reporting of consolidated accounts to the NSW Fair Trading (compliance body of incorporated entity)
- Bookkeeping and accounting: monthly bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor reconciling, asset management
- Funds (cash) management
- Stock Taking
- Sponsorship of the second-grade team
We provide business and financial support to the team and have dramatically improved the financials of the club since our first year.
Since both their time the:
- Constitutional update
- Building Development loan repaid – for the Clubroom development
- Charity Tax Deduction Registration status for building and sports development
- Subcommittee consolidated reporting to all members (Maitland Seniors, Maitland Juniors and 1877 Club)
- Significant sponsorship increase and retention
- Grounds development; including massive electricity supply upgrades – lighting – Ground Sign frames – clubroom flooring – clubroom roof lining and Gyprocking
- Grant funding for developments
