Samuel R Allen, the Chief Executive Officer of Deere, said these words. “Pessimists may be right in the end, but an optimist has a much better time getting there.”
This is an inspirational quote about personal growth. We do not derive anything from being negative, pessimistic people. Although pessimistic people might be right eventually, they don’t enjoy the thrill of trying. They hate risks and therefore don’t achieve a lot in life.
Optimists are just the opposite. They focus less on the fact that they could fail and more on the possibility of being lucky. While they may lose eventually, optimists experience what the pessimists don’t. This leads to more personal growth. As Samuel R Allen says, we may be best choosing the path of optimists. While success is not guaranteed, growth is.
