Risks Must Be Taken If you Want to Be Happy
Taking risks does not come naturally to a lot of people and they would rather miss out on a lot of life’s experiences and adventures rather than put themselves out of their comfort zone. There is a lot to be said for not trying something different as if you don’t put yourself out there, then you can’t get hurt.
The trouble with that attitude is that there is a lot of joy that can be missed out on when there is an adversity to risks. This is summed up perfectly with “You can’t fall if you don’t climb. But there’s no joy in living your whole life on the ground.”
There is no clear evidence as to where this comes from as the author is usually cited as unknown, but there are occasions when it has been attributed to Dr Seuss. If your feet stay on the ground, your mind cannot rise much higher.
