Financing the purchase of your business
There are 2 main ways of financing your business purchase:
Equity funding
Equity funding is seeking investors to purchase shares or units within your business in order to raise capital to purchase assets for investing or business usage. This funding is generally repaid by dividends or unit distributions.
Debt Funding
Debt funding is seeing a bank or somewhere to loan you money in order to purchase assets. This funding will need to be repaid by loan repayments and generally interest is chargable on the loan
Please note that there is combinations of the 2 that can occur.
