Marissa Mayer has a famous quote that goes like this: “I always did something that I was a little not ready to do. I think that, that is how you grow. When there’s a moment of ‘Wow, I’m not so sure that I can do this,’ and you push through those moments, it’s then that you have a breakthrough.”
As you can see, Marissa Mayer was talking about the power of trying something that you are unsure of. She speaks of moments when you hate doing a certain thing but then you decide to go ahead only to come out successful. And she is correct; a breakthrough feels great especially when one had doubts.
Are there times when you this quote by Marissa Mayer couldn’t more correct? All of us have had such a feeling before and probably decided to give up trying. It would be nice to try as you might just have a breakthrough.
