Term Deposits
A term deposit is the form of bank deposit where money is deposited into a bank account that the money is secured over a predetermined period of time and an interest rate is agreed upon between the bank and the depositor.
The most effective term deposits are normally secured over 7 to 12 months.
European Stocks
With the record fine handed down to 6 europen banks for colluding, stocks in Europe are expected to fall over the next couple of days and even weeks. The fine was handed down due to the banks rigging the markets to ensure they are making higher than normal profits.
Qantas
Qantas, Australia’s premium air carrier, will be unfortanutely slashing 1,000 jobs based on the slump in sales in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
This has led to the request of a hand out from the Australian Government in order to float the company.
Cricket
