TPB to focus on PI Insurance
The chairman of the TPB, Ian Taylor, has stated that the key focus of the TPB this year is to ensure that all registered agents are meeting their professional indemnity (PI) insurance obligations. This includes the requirement for registered agents to provide the TPB with policy details that are up to date. Effectively, this means that practitioners must inform the board of:
- any changes that occur in relation to their policy; and
- any renewals of policies.
