Why is multitasking bad?
Although multitasking may make us feel as if we’re ticking things off the list, recent studies have shown that multitasking makes us less productive and more stressed.
Stanford University researchers found that it led to more mistakes and longer time needed to perform tasks. Here are some tips to help relieve that stress and increase productivity:
– In the afternoon sit down for 10 minutes and write down all the tasks that need completing. Then star the top 3 that you want to concentrate on. When the next day comes just focus on those three key items first.
