Bottrell Business Consultants is dedicated to giving back to our community and raising awareness for causes such as Breast Cancer. October is recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Bottrell Team held a morning tea to support the cause.
One in eight women in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer during some stage of their life. Many women are unaware or blind sighted to how common Breast Cancer is and often find don’t realise they are affected until a later stage. Early detection gives a greater treatment success rate and by supporting causes like breast cancer awareness month, others are able to assist in providing services such as the Early Detection Centres.
Breast Cancer does not only affect women but also men, with around 150 males being diagnosed annually.
Supporting these charities is not just about donations, but also about raising awareness to our colleagues, friends, families and even social media followers. We believe that by bringing Breast Cancer to an individual’s attention we have succeeded.
