Fear is a common emotion in human beings. Mostly it is the fear of the unknown that prevent people from achieving their dreams. When you have illogical fear you cannot reason properly and act appropriately. So, what did he mean? He simply meant that most people are not living their dreams because of being lead by illogical fear. Young kids that are not mature enough to know they can get hurt when climbing on things do not have fear. The moment an adult stops them from playing dangerously they develop the fear of getting hurt or beaten up.
