Plato And His Saying On Men who Fear the Light
There are many wise sayings out there. One saying belong to Plato. It says this, “We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” This is a motivational quote with deeper meaning than most of us can see. Children are more afraid of the dark that falling from heights.
And because it is normal for a kid to be afraid of the dark, it can be forgiven. What cannot be forgiven, according to Plato, are men who cannot face the light. In fact, Plato calls their fear of the light a real tragedy.
Men are the heads of the family, society, organizations and nations. They are supposed to lead and protect. One who leads and protects is one who has seen the light and is not afraid of the beam. They have nothing to hide and are bold enough to do things in the open.
