So how do you now as a business owner, take this information and use it to your advantage? How are you going to capture those precious 8 seconds of attention form your customers?
- Stay relevant
To stay front of mind you need to stay relevant. Keep up-to-date with what your competitors are doing – and not doing. Make your mark somewhere new that no one else is.
- Keep in context
Keep your information relevant to your business and what you offer. Don’t blog about cars if you sell baby toys – get the drift?
- Try new things
Don’t be afraid to push boundaries. Get out there and try something new and amazing. No one ever succeeded without trying!
- Never rest
The reality is that businesses can no longer rest on their laurels and someone bright, shiny and new is right there behind you ready to take your place. Work hard on your business every day.
