Story of BBC – Beginning to Now
2010
At the age of 33, Gavin Bottrell had established Bottrell Business Consultants, on the 27th of April, 2010. The organisation had opened and had started to operate with no other employees.
The operations of the business had started from a setup at home, as this was the start of their business this was the easier option, however they would not be there for long.
A few months later in 2010, Gavin had decided to open the first Bottrell office with a total of 4 employees located in the Maitland CBD. The business had continued to expand with an initial client base of around 300 clients, this had included one business client. This was an exciting start to their fulfilling future; all the employees were very excited for the future as everything was looking bright.
2011 – 2013
Gavin and Rebecca had decided to expand the business by opening another office in Newcastle; they had also expanded their team to 8 employees and launching Mobile Taxation & Accounting, recruitment service to assist the growing client base that they had, along with SMSF advice.
Due to business expansion, the BBC group had decided to relocate from a 50sqm office which was situated in the Maitland CBD area to a larger 300sqm office which was in the heart of East Maitland.
2014 – 2015
Bottrell mobile taxation was launched in various regional locations in the Upper Hunter. They had decided to expand their business by introducing another three offices interstate; Brisbane, Melbourne, and Surfers Paradise.
2016
An exciting year, Bottrell Media was born. Bottrell Media has grown from a team of two to a team of 7 with an even more exciting future ahead. Bottrell Media are a diverse team of 7 creatives who specialise in Social Media Marketing, Web Design & Development, E-commerce, Branding and Content.
2017
2017 has been a record breaking year in the firm. With new sectors launched such as Bottrell Wealth, Bottrell Recruitment, and Business Mentoring/Coaching. Bottrell Business Consultants is a continually thriving company with no signs of slowing up anytime soon.
As a company, they currently hold a very reputable name. They are a strong, ambitious, goal orientated organisation which will and has continued to grow in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Maitland area.
